Great Study Bible

It has maps, introductions to each of the books, verse and chapter descriptions as well as other verses that relate to what you are currently reading. It helps me understand the culture of the time when each book was written and relate it to today. It is a big Bible. Highly recommend.

First ever Study Bible I have purchased. I am still getting into it, but so far really happy with the maps and info. I should have perhaps bought the larger print edition as the text is quite small, but could not afford it unfortunately.

Best Study Bible I've come across

I'm a Methodist, retired, and over the past 7 years have led 2 bible study groups and occasionally preached in our church. I've used 2 study bibles and have found them to be invaluable when preparing lessons and sermons.
Also I religiously (pun intended! ) read the bible every day and if you wish to gain greater understanding and faith from the Word a study bible is necessary.
Having recently purchased this ESV bible i've now switched to it for my daily readings.
This Bible is just incredible! There are so many in-depth extras, commentaries, and reviews of Christianity that make this Study Bible a really superb resource.
I cannot emphasize this more: If you wish to know more about the Bible, enhance your faith and understanding of God and his plans for us you need to use a study Bible and this ESV Bible is definitely one of the best.
