CSB Baker Illustrated Study Bible (Hardcover)

I've not had the Bible long enough to do a proper review on it. There are too many features to comment on in such a short amount of time. I'll most probably only use it comprehensively next year when I start my 2026 read through the Bible plan, but for now it's useful to have as an alternate translation. I do love the single column layout of the Scriptures, although I'm not really hot on paragraph styles. I'm rather partial to verse-by-verse Bibles. Also very helpful are the short introductions to each Book of the Bible. Although sparse, they help to cement the Bible in history along with the mini-sized maps that are placed strategically within the various chapters of the Books. However, the main reason I bought this Bible now is because it's been on my wish list on a few used book store sites for close to three years since I watched a review on it. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw it was available for sale at CUM Books as it's been out of print for well over five years and Baker has no intention currently to get it back into print. There are kindle versions available of the Baker CSB Illustrated Bible, but I prefer my Bibles in hardcopy form on my bookshelf and the wait has been well worth it. I'm giving the Bible five stars for now because of the review that got me onto it and because I know I'm going to have a blast with it when I rotate onto this translation next year.
